- Description
- On behalf of the United States Marine Corps, Marine Corps Systems Command, Infantry Weapons Systems, PM-Optics and Non-Lethal, this is a notification of intent to solicit for the Thermal Binocular/Biocular System. This announcement is not a solicitation and no solicitation for the TBS exists at this time. Proposals are not being requested at this time. The Government intends to award at least one FFP, IDIQ contract to the offeror(s) that represent the "Best Value" to the Government. The Government intends to procure at least 217 Long Range Thermal Imagers (LRTI) and 3856 Tactical Range Thermal Imagers (TRTI). The Government anticipates issuing a combined synopsis / solicitation prior to 10 June 05. The second of two presolicitation conferences will be held at MCB Quantico VA on 24 May 05, at Liversedge Hall, at 10:00am - 1:00pm. Future information regarding this procurement will be posted to NECO and FedBizOpps. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (20-MAY-2005).
