Description

General Services Administration (GSA), Northwest Arctic Region, intends to establish an Indefinite Delivery Requirements Type contract for Janitorial and Grounds Maintenance services at the following US Border Stations located on the northeastern Washington/Canadian border: 1) Danville Border Station, Rural Route 21, WA 99121 3,055 SF Interior cleanable 7,565 SF Exterior landscape area 60,925 SF Exterior police/air blowing 71,690 Unimproved Area 2) Ferry Border Station, 3559 Troda Ridge, Curlew, WA 99121 1,400 SF Interior cleanable 39,625 SF Exterior landscape area 2,655 SF Exterior police/air blowing 3) Laurier Border Station, Laurier, WA 99146 2,949 SF Interior cleanable 72,000 SF Landscape area 7,950 SF Exterior police/air blowing. The solicitation number will be GS-10P-05-LSD-0050. The period of performance is for twelve (12) months with four (4) one-year option periods. This acquisition will be issued IAW FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiations. In conformance with FAR 19.13, this acquisition is being considered for a HUB Zone set-aside. If your firm is HUB Zone certified and intends to propose on this acquisition, please provide the following information to the Contracting Officer no later than June 20, 2005: 1) SBA certification of HUB Zone eligibility 2) Capability statement for firm Based on the responses, the Contracting Officer will make a determination whether or not to make this a HUB Zone set-aside. If there is not a reasonable expectation of adequate competition as a HUB Zone set-aside, the acquisition will be conducted under 100% small business set aside. Offers will be evaluated utilizing Best Value Procedures with the evaluation factors set forth in the solicitation. Anticipated start date is 11/1/05. Solicitation will be available on or about 06/30/05. Offers will be due on or about 08/10/05. The NAICS Code applicable to this procurement is 561720 with the small business size of $14M.
