- FISC - NNSY Maritime Industrial Branch, Hampton Roads Division proposes to contract on a sole source basis with W. A. Whitney Company to Open and Inspect, perform corrective maintenance and provide preventive maintenance and minor repair as needed for 2 each W. A. Whitney Co., CNC Cutting and Punching Fabricating Center Machines (Model 3700/3500) at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. Services to be performed prior on or before 30 September 2005. Response date for submission of offers is 3:50 P.M. 21 July 2005. This requirement is being handled utilizing SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES as set forth in FAR PART 13. IMPORTANT NOTICE: DFAR 252.204-7004 REQUIRED CENTRAL REGISTRATION (CCR) applies. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information regarding CCR may be found at www.ccr.gov.
