- Description
- The Carderock Division Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Goodrich Corporation. The contractor shall provide 20,000 lbs of the proprietary polyurethane known as NGD-9. No substitutes are acceptable. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. (See numbered note: 22) All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any inquiries must be in writing via Email to: June.Catterton@navy.mil This requirement will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Anticipated award is on or about 7/22/05.
