Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, CA intends to procure on a full and open competition basis, three (3) Shaker Amplifiers. Full specifications will be included in the Request for Quotation. The system must interface with existing Ling B-335 shakers and modified Ling B-335 shaker with 2-inch stroke and drive shakers to full power. Amplifier must be complete with a field power supply. Frequency range: must operate up to 4 KHz with full power to 2500 HZ. Roll off shall be no less than 6 dB/octave at 3 KHz. Signal to noise ratio: with input shorted, more than 70 dB below full output. Rate power outlet = 120 KVA. Total Harmonic Distortion must be equal to or better than the following when measured into a resistive load at 80% output power: 0.50% THD 10- 1500 Hz; 0.75% THD 1500- 2000 Hz; and 1.00% THD 2000 -3000 Hz. Input Impedance: 10 K ohms for direct coupled, single ended. Output load connections must be isolated from ground. Soft start m! ust employ current sensing and fault detection. Internal interlocks must contain over and under voltage, logic fault, over load, loss of power, output over voltage and low voltage power supply. Amplifier cooling must be air cooled with internal fans. Heat rejected to air must be no more than 0.46 BTU/Hr per KVA. External interlocks must include over travel, over temperature and external (user defined) capability. Output voltage shall range from 0 - 134 volts. Maximum Current (Sine) is 100 amps. Maximum Peak Current (RMS) is 225 amps. Delivery of the system is FOB Destination to the NAWCWD 90 days after award of the contract. The solicitation will be issued on or about 20 July 2005 and will be available at NECO at http://www.neco.navy.mil and at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All responses must reference RFQ N68936-05-T-0199. Award will be issued under the authority of the test program for commercial items (FAR 13.5). All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Cont! ractor Registration (CCR) Database. Responses shall include all information requested in the Request for Quotation (RFQ). All responsible sources may submit a quotation that shall be considered by the agency.
