Description

SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This announcement is for market research purposes to assist this office in determining the extent to which a requirement should be offered in support of the 8(a) or HUBZone Programs. The project site is Gulf Islands National Seashore, Perdido Key Area, Escambia County, Pensacola, Florida 32507. The work consists of, but not limited to, furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and materials and transportation necessary for the reconstruction of approximately 2500 feet of Johnson Beach Road (washed out by Hurricane Ivan) in accordance with standard federal highway specifications. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) Code is 237310, and Size Standard is $28.5 million. Estimated construction price range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Construction period is 45 calendar days from notice to proceed or earliest negotiated date. Bid, payment and performance bonds will be required. Interested concerns may respond in writing to the Contract Specialist not later than 4 PM CST on the reponse date included in this announcement to receive consideration. As a minimum, the following information is requested: (a) a positive statement of intention to submit an offer as a prime contractor; (b) complete capability/qualification package describing technical expertise and work experience of similar type and scope {to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contacts/telephone numbers}, and; (c) evidence of bonding. If adequate interest is not timely received, this office will issue the solicitation on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. NOTE: The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing and or submitting a response to this notice.
