Description

This announcement serves as a notice of intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. The government intends to negotiate and award a purchase order to Watercourse Engineering, for follow-on work for the effects of summer Iron Gate flow regimes on thermal habitat refugia in the mainstem of the Klamath River downstream of Iron Gate Dam, for the Mid Pacific Region. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100,000.00. This notice will be the only official notice prior to award of the purchase order. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Responses should include the firm's Dun and Bradstreet number (DUNS) and Tax Identification Number (TIN). Firms should identify business size (i.e. small business, other than small business, etc.) in accordance with the size standard for NAICS code 541620. This notice may represent the only official notice of such a solicitation. The anticipated award date is July 18, 2005. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed by email at msims@mp.usbr.gov by July 15, 2005.
