Description: By way of this notice, and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Rock Island District - U. S. Army Corps of Engineers announces its intention to negotiate on a sole source basis with Snyder & Associates for information collection, GPS control densifica tion, infrastructure recovery survey, and database development in support of a GIS mapping project in the City of Marion, IA. While under a prior contract with the City of Marion, Snyder and Associates performed comparable tasks during Phase one of City's mapping project. Data gathered from Phase two will need to link to and be integrated with data from phase one. The proposed performance period is for approximately 12 months. Shall be a firm fixed price contract. This notice is NOT a Request for Propo sal and NO solicitation documents will be issued. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Award is anticipated on or about 2 0 July 2005. Procurement range is approximately $150,000.00 to $290,000.00. Any responses received due to this notice are strictly for purposes of future procurements.
