Description
The U.S. Army Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement to purchase a Pelco manufactured video monitoring system for the Bayou Beouf Lock. Solicitation W912P8-05-T-0080 is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for GSA Federal Supply Schedule pricing. Offers will be accepted only from Pelco brand GSA contract holders who can supply GSA contract brand name only on GSA schedule as well as installation services either on GSA schedule or Open Market if not part of the schedule. Offeror must supply the GSA Contract number and mark which items, if any, are Open Market with (OM) next to the line item description or pricing. The applicable Standard Industrial Code is 5043. The NAICS code is 423140. This solicitation is issued as unrestric ted. The RFQ and all information pertaining to this acquisition will be made available electronically through the Federal Business Opportunities electronic posting system web link at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. It is and will continue to be all potential offero rs responsibility to monitor the fedbizopps website for any amendments, updates, bidders, library, responses to questions, and answers as the government will not be maintaining a mailing list. It is incumbent upon all potential offerors to download from the fedbizopps website. Any communications must identify the RFQ number W912P8-05-T-0080, company name, address, phone number including area code, facsimile number and point of contact. The Contract Specialist for this requirement is Allen Calliham (Alle n.R.Calliham@mvn02.usace.army.gov), the alternate Contract Specialist is Angela Deren (Angela.Deren@mvn02.usace.army.mil) and the Contracting Officer is Diane G. Taylor (Diane.G.Taylor@mvn02.usace.army.mil). Any communications must be sent to both the Con tract Specialist and Contracting Officer. No phone call requests will be accepted. The RFQ will be issued on or about 05 July 2005. Quotes are due on or about 20 July 2005 at 1400 hours. NOTE: Contractor must be registered with Central Contractor Registration to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration may be obtained by calling 1-800-334-3414 or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Registering may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
