- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice for a part time Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner and a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The upcoming solicitation will be issued as a request for proposal (RFP) for commercial items under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The Contractor shall provide acute care services required for Government beneficiaries. Care shall include but not be limited to acute and routine general care to include care for chronic patient conditions. The Contractor will work each Saturday and Sunday, and holidays (or the actual day set aside for observation) for the following: New Year?s Day, Martin Luther King Jr.?s Birthday, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Other days, the first three (3) Mondays each month, Training Days, Goal Days, and Down Days will be sufficiently staffed by the contractor for the duration of the contract. The Contractor shall provide care at the 319th Medical Group, Grand Forks AFB Clinic, also referred to as the "Medical Treatment Facility" (MTF). Performance shall be in accordance with the requirements contained in the Statement of Work, and professional standards of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization (JCAHO). This will be set-aside for Small-Disadvantage Veteran Owned Business only with the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) of 621111 with a size standard of $8.5 million. The period of performance will be a basic period (25 Sep 05 to 24 Sep 06) with four option years. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The Government anticipates the issuance of the solicitation on or about 18 Jul 05. The entire solicitation will be made available Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.eps.gov). No paper copies will be issued. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package.
