- The Federal Prison Camp, Alderson, WV is seeking a qualified individual or organization capable of providing the services of a Parenting Education Instructor to the female inmates. The contractor must provide the services as required by the Statement of Work. The contractor shall provide four (4), three (3) hours sessions per week for the education component; and 104, six (6) hour sessions for the Visiting Room Children's Center component. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price non-personal service requirements contract with a performance period from date of award through September 30, 2006, with the Government's unilateral right to exercise three (3) option years. The solicitation will be available on or after July 6, 2005, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information abut this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All qualified sources are encouraged to submit an offer which will be considered for award. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The estimated date for receipt of offers is August 10, 2005.
