Description

This is a 'Sources Sought' synopsis. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Marianas is seeking qualified licensed, trained, and certified drivers for operation of Guam Naval Station's Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) shuttle bus service. While buses are furnished by the Government, the contractor will also have to provide all major and minor repair work for all vehicles operated under this contract. The intent of this sources sought notice is to assist the contracting officer with a determination that at least two responsible HUBZONE business concerns are capable of providing these services at a fair market price. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this acquisition is 485113, and the small business size standard for this procurement is $5,000,000. The anticipated solicitation issuance date is on or about 1 August 05, with proposals due on or about 1 September 05. Interested HUBZONE business concerns responding to this synopsis notice should provide a capability package identifying your firm's core services, your firm's key personnel and corporate experience, and a listing of existing or previous contracts (with points of contact) for similar-type services. Capability packages should be submitted via e-mail to the contract specialist, Claire Camacho, at claire.camacho@navfacmar.navy.mil, and the contracting officer, Andrew Wall, at andrew.wall@navfacmar.navy.mil, no later than 4:00 p.m., Chamorro Standard Time, on 8 July 2005.
