Description
Deer Run Campground Reconstruction Project – Deer Run Campground is a small, 19 unit campground. The project consists of minor earthwork, about 340 cubic yards for the widening of part of the campground roadway, constructing several new campground parking spurs and lengthening and widening other parking spurs. The project also consists of an asphalt overlay on the constructed and existing campground spurs and roadways with an estimated 900 tons of hot bituminous plant mix asphalt. Included in the project is the construction of about 450 square feet (exposed face area) of treated timber retaining wall, and other minor incidental work. This is a full and open competition solicitation. This will be uploaded to this same website on approximately July 18, 2005 and responses will be due on August 18, at 4:30 p.m. Note: There will be a site visit on August 3, 2005 at the Deer Run Campground at 9:30 a.m. Directions: Take Highway 191 North from Vernal, Utah to the Greendale Junction (approximately 35 miles). At the Greendale Junction stay on Highway 191 going toward Dutch John. Follow the highway approximately 5 miles to the junction with the Cedar Springs Road. Deer Run Campground is about 1/2 mile down the Cedar Springs Road, on the left NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (01-JUL-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
