- NOTE: PREVIOUS SOLICITATION NO. 362575-05-A-0306 WAS CANCELLED. THIS IS A READVERTISEMENT FOR NEW OWNED CONSTRUCTION FOR A CARRIER ANNEX IN ATLANTIC CITY NJ. PLAN HOLDER LISTS FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE AT www.ldireproprinting.com AFTER JULY 12, 2005. The work involves furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to construct a 16,200 square foot postal facility, in accordance with USPS approved specifications and drawings. The USPS-owned site is located at 1701 Pacific Avenue in Atlantic City. The building will be brick veneer and concrete masonry unit construction with a steel structure. The interior includes a large workroom area with mechanized postal equipment, a small customer service area, office areas, and employee areas. It will also include two loading docks and a carrier canopy. The site will be paved for car, truck, and delivery parking and will be fenced in entirely. The project will include security items inside the building and on the site, such as card access and video equipment. The building will include a sprinkler system. The total construction time is estimated to be 300 calendar days from notice to proceed. The estimated construction cost range is $3,200,000 to $3,600,000. The contractor must be licensed for this type of work as applicable in the State of New Jersey. Award will be based on price and evaluation factors that include past performance, experience, resources, and project management, as outlined in the solicitation package. Participation with minority and woman-owned businesses is encouraged. A PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING WILL BE CONDUCTED AT THE SITE, 1701 PACIFIC AVENUE IN ATLANTIC CITY, ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 27, 2005, AT 1:00 P.M.
