- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a firm fixed price delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-03-G-0003, with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), 6900 Main St. Stratford, Connecticut 06614, on an other than full and open competitive basis for the non-recurring tasks for engineering changes leading to the incorporation of improved reliability solid state gyroscopes into the MH-60R/S helicopters. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. SAC is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the airframe for the MH-60R/S aircraft and the only known source possessing the knowledge, experience, and technical data necessary to perform this effort.
