Description

The Veterans Affairs in Cincinnati, Ohio intends to negotiate sole source with Aesculap Instrument Corporation, Center Valley, PA for purchase of (1) Yasargill Clip Tray, which will consist of Neurosurgical Clips and Instruments. The tray will consist of many types and sizes of Yasargill Permanent Standard-Clip Bayonet, Angled, Spoon, Straight, and Curved. Some of the other items on the tray are the following: Yasargill Temporary Mini-clip straight Narro, full-size wire basket, Aneurysm Clip Applier Tray F/TI Appliers and other items. The purchase is for the VA Medical Center, 3200 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220. This acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 12 and accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for offers. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The anticipated date of award is July 29, 2005. Please reference 539-28-05 on all inquiries and comments. No telephone calls will be accepted.
