Description

The Department of Justice (DOJ), Justice Management Division, Procurement Services Staff, intends to negotiate a sole source contract under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, for the renewal of an annual lease subscription of various Data Base Products software. The contract will also contain four (4) one year options for renewal of these leases. The subscription and quarterly updates are for the following DBI proprietary products, O&D Plus, On-board, Form 41 Financials, HUB, International, Gateway, and Onboard International. The products are held as proprietary by the vendor and no third party access or maintenance is available. No solicitation document exists. Interested parties must respond within 15 days of this notice with a written statement of capability that convincingly demonstrates that they possess the ability to provide the annual subscription and the updates to these products. Responses received as a result of this notice of intend shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon written responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the agency. See Numbered note 22.****
