- Description
- The Department of Justice (DOJ) requires an automated system to track and manage the debt collection and financial litigation efforts conducted by the U.S. Attorney’s Offices (including the private counsel), five DOJ litigating divisions, and the Justice Management Division, Office of Debt Collection Management. In addition, the DOJ requires the continued operations and maintenance of the deployed system throughout the life of the contract, user training, future system enhancements, and operation of the Nationwide Central Intake Facility (NCIF). DOJ intends to award a single contract for all requirements. The contract term will be for a period of seven years including all options. A draft Request for Proposal (RFP) and additional information is being released for industry comment. Comments are requested on the draft RFP and the information available in the virtual reading room. The government is open to suggestions to help improve the RFP. Vendors are requested to pay particular attention to the functional and technical requirements, the tasks and deliverables, the performance standards and objectives, proposal page limits, and the documents available in the virtual reading room. The reading room can be accessed at http://www.usdoj.gov/jmd/ocio/cdcs/index.html. To receive full consideration, comments must be received via email to Simone Jackson at Simone.Jackson@usdoj.gov by 12:00pm March 4, 2005. The DOJ will not publish comments nor will DOJ provide responses to the submitters but may take those comments into consideration when releasing the final RFP.
