Description
NAICS Code: 334516 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Science and Ecosystem Support Division (SESD) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price, Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Horizon Technology, Inc. of Salem, NH. The purpose of this acquisition is to purchase an eight-place Extractor System with on site installation and training. The solid phase Extraction System must have the following requirements: 1) The Extraction units shall be able to operate independently of each other. Each unit can run a different method and at different times. 2) The system shall be able to operate at least eight (8) units and does not have to have a PC. 3) The unit will automatically rinse the sample container with the extracting solvent and transfers the washes with all retained analytes onto the solid phase disk. 4) The unit has the capability to save the first sample pass thru the disk so that it can have a pH adjustment and be passed thru the disk again. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein should submit their capabilities and interest in writing to U.S. EPA, Region 4, Office of Acquisition Management, 61 Forsyth Street , Atlanta, GA 30303, ATTN: Janice Spady. Responses to this requirement must be received by 4:30 PM EST, on July 5, 2005. A determination not to compete the proposed Purchase Order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
