Description

County "K" Site Improvements, St. Croix National Scenic Riverways, solicitation number I6066050055. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)code is 237310 and the Small Business Size Standard is $28.5M (average gross revenue for the last three (3) years)., due on or about August 18,2005, POC Tonya Bradley Contract Specialist, Billy Davis, Contracting Officer, 402-661-1656/402-661-1658. Improve parking and access to the Saint Croix Scenic Riverway, County K Landing Area located approximately 20 miles southwest of Minong, Wisconsin in Washburn County. Work consists of the demolition of the existing aggregate parking area and drive, the general construction on a new asphalt parking area and drive. Subsidiary work items include minor clearing and grubbing, grading and compaction, asphalt paving, concrete walks, aggregate walks, new water fountain, new concrete wheels stops, pavement striping and construction of a wood boardwalk. The estimated cost is between $100,000 and $250,000. This project will be awarded under a single firm-fixed price contract. The period of performance is sixty (60) calendar days from issuance of notice to proceed. This solicitation will be awarded under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, UNRESTRICTED (open to both small and large business) pursuant to Public Law 100-656. The solicitation package will be issued on or about July 18, 2005 with approximately 30 days response time. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be issued.
