Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12.6 and supplemented with additional information as included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; proposals are due July 7, 2005, 2:00 PM. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses governed by FAC 97-22. This solicitation is advertised for full and open competition as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 327390. Proposals are requested for Solicitation Number 601815Q459. The Statement of work consists of but is not limited to the contractor providing all plant, labor, tools, parts, equipment, transportation and incidentals needed to provide crushed concrete approximately 1-1/2" to 2-1/2 inches in diameter. Crushed concrete shall be delivered in two loads at different times of the year. The first delivery shall be made between October 2005 and January 2006, and the second delivery between January 2006 and December 2006. The first delivery will be made to Peterson Trail in the following quantities: Segment A-914 tons, Segment B-421 tons, Segment C-222 tons, Interpretive Area-176 tons, Pull off-176 tons. The total amount of crushed concrete required for the first delivery is 2,085 tons. The second delivery will be made at Mallard Trail in the following quantities: Segment A - 599 tons, Segment C-329 tons. Pintail Trail delivery will be made in the following tonnages: Segment A - 141 tons, Segment B-931 tons, Segment C-402 tons. The total amount of tonnage required for the second delivery is 2,402.00. The total amount of crushed concrete to be delivered is 4,487. Please be advised that the contractor will be required to show and provide evidence of delivery tickets with weights of the deliveries made. In addition, the contractor will be required to provide the refuge staff a minimum of 3 weeks notice prior to scheduling delivery of the crushed concrete. As previously stated within this announcement, delivery points are Peterson, Mallard and Pintail trails. Interested businesses shall include the information at FAR 52.213-3 (Offeror Representation and Certifications for Commercial Items) with their DUNS and tax identification Numbers and Electronic Funds Transfer Compliant. FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-4, and FAR 52.212-5 applies to this acquisition. Offerors must acquaint themselves with the regulations governing Commercial Item acquisitions contained in FAR Part 12. Offerors not in possession of the referenced clauses in text may obtain them at FAR Part 12 or via website at www.arnet.gov. The Department of Labor Wage Determination NE020002, dated June 13, 2003 for Nebraska (Buffalo County) applies to the acquisition. This wage Determination can be accessed through www.servicecontract.fedworld.gov. Evaluation and award will be made in accordance with FAR 52.212. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the most advantageous to the Government based solely upon price. All responsible sources are invited to express their interest to this solicitation. Responses to Solicitation 601815Q459 are due not later than July 7, 2005, 2:00 PM.
