Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) National Center for Patient Safety (NCPS), Ann Arbor, Michigan, has a need for Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) software or non-developmental software to extract embedded in natural language text from patient safety analysis reports, such as root cause analysis, safety reports, aggregate reviews, that are stored in NCPS SQL 2000 Server databases from PC?s utilizing Window 2000 operation systems. Period of Performance shall be a base year with four (4) renewal option. The NAICS is 423430 and size standard is 500. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the government. SOLICITATION SHALL BE AVAILABLE ON OR ABOUT JULY 1, 2005. Offer due date is August 5 2005, 4:30PM local time. No questions regarding this solicitation will be answered verbally. Question shall be submitted no later than Friday July 22, 2005. All questions shall be submitted in writing only and will be answered in writing.
