Description

The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service is currently seeking potential quoters to replace the existing curb stops serving the two staff quarters on the Sisseton I.H.S. hospital compound. Contractor shall excavate and remove the two (2) curb stops and replace with new, approved curb stops. Any existing water service line that may be damaged during replacement shall be replaced at Contractor's expense. It shall be the responsiblity of the Contractor to assure that the water service line is disinfected and water to the house is safe and potable after replacement of the curb stops. At one house, the Contractor shall provide sufficient black dirt to correct the existing drainage siutation. Dirt is to be placed, leveled, large pieces removed, smoothed and seeded. Certain sections of existing concrete sidewalks are to be removed and replaced. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to remove from site and properly dispose of the old sidewalk. Contractor shall replace the sidewalk and bring the area surroundings and replaced sidewalk back to pre-construction condition. The contractor shall enlarge and existing concrete area by the hospital entrance. The construction period is 30 days from date of award. Requests for RFQ-5-094 shall be in writing either by telefax or email and it will be available approximately 15 days AFTER the date of publication, which will be July 11, 2005. The closing date of this RFQ is July 26, 2005. The acquisition is totally set-aside to Buy Indian certified firms in accordance with 25 U.S.C. 47, the Buy Indian Act.
