Description
OCS DISASTER RECOVERY SERVICES The purpose of this amendment is to: Section C.4 Real Time Options (Not Mandatory) is hereby amended to include: The offeror is to propose an option for providing space and workstations for staff members of OCS or its customers in the event it is needed in a declared disaster. Each workstation must be equipped with a commonly available operating system, routine business application software (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, etc.), and be equipped with both voice and data communications capability. The government does not anticipate more than twenty-four workstations. The space must be located within 300 miles of Springfield, Virginia. Please structure pricing per workstation including space and identify any volume discounts that would apply. The following questions, answers and clarifications are provided: 1) Under past performance it does not state how many you want? It is highly recommended to include past performance for the past three years. 2) We did not see any information on if Small Business and Small Disadvantage Businesses are encouraged on bidding on this RFP and will be awarded additional points during the review of responses? This is a very important procurement to the Department of Commerce and we are encouraging the maximum level of competition and therefore a full and open competition. 3) We did not see any Section K on Viability/Stability of the organization? "The evaluation criteria stated in the solicitation under Numbers 1, 2 and 3 will rate the offeror's "Corporate Resources", "Past Performance" and "Proposed Resources and Management Approach". It is the responsibility of the offeror within their technical proposal to address each of these areas sufficiently to provide the information required to evaluate each company's viability/stability of their individual organizations." 4) Will there be a pre-bid conference? No. We are not planning to conduct a pre-bid conference. 5) If there is a current contract in place for this service, please provide contractor and address. SunGard Recovery Services, Herndon, VA All other terms and conditions of the original announcement posted on May 27, 2005 and Amendment 001 posted on June 19, 2005, remains unchanged and applicable to this combined solicitation announcement. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (23-JUN-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
