- This project is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Kitty Creek #2 Bridge, Park County, Shoshone National Forest, Wyoming, located approximately 45 miles west of Cody, Wyoming. Work shall include replacing an existing road bridge with a 46 foot single span, single lane composite steel stringer bridge on concrete spread footings, and shall include demolition of the existing bridge and construction of a new bridge, with footings, headwalls, wingwalls, backfill, riprap, approaches, and other associated work. The new structure shall meet the design criteria with 3.2 feet of freeboard between the 100-year water surface elevation and the low chord of the bridge. This shall be a firm fixed price contract. Estimated price range is $250,000 - $500,000. This project shall be a set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. See Note 27. It is anticipated work shall begin after Labor Day 2005, and be completed no later than May 01, 2006. NAICS code is 237310, size standard $28.5 million. This is an electronic solicitation only. All documents will be posted to www.fedbizopps.gov for download from this web site exclusively. It is anticipated the solicitation package will be issued approximately July 07, 2005. The successful contractor shall be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov), and in ORCA (http://orca.bpn.gov) (Online Representations and Certifications Application) before award is made.
