Description
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for a Multi-Angle Spectrophotometer model MultiFX10 or Equivalent, Features: Ten or more illuminating/viewing angle combinations, illuminant types including but not limited to D65, D50, A,C,F,CWF, standard observers 2 degree and 10 degree, spectral range between 400 and 780 nm, measuring area (Aperture) 22MM X 69MM preferably smaller, photometric range 1 to 1000%, data output 10NM intervals, 10NM band pass, reflectance and delta E data in CIELAB color units, and other also includes: QC software package readable by Excel and Word, Warranty one year or more, Training and technical support. Quantity: 1 system. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is set-side for small business (see numbered note 1). The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code is 333999, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-05-0574. Delivery shall be made within 30 days after receipt of purchase order. Deliver terms are F.O.B. Destination to Bureau of Engraving and Printing, D Street Between 13th & 14th Street S W, Washington D C 20228. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be for best value considering technical ability and price. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS numbers, size status (that is, small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). If this item is available under GSA Schedule, please provide the schedule number. Quotations are due by 2:30 P.M. on July 07, 2005.
