- THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE RELEASED VIA THE INTERNET. This will be the only method for distributing solicitation documents and amendments. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AND DOWNLOADING AT THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil The official planholders list will be maintained and can be printed on the website only. Amendments will be posted to the website for viewing and downloading. IT IS THE OFFEROR?S RESPONSIBILITY TO PERIODICALLY CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR AMENDMENTS. ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS AND PLAN ROOMS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER ON THE WEBSITE. All contractual and technical questions shall be submitted to Carrie Grimard via facsimile at 812-854-3800 or e-mail at carrie.grimard@navy.mil Solicitation documents will only be available electronically at the following website: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Provide necessary labor, transportation, materials, supplies, equipment, and supervision to replace the existing reinforced concrete loading docks of Magazine 216 and Building 466 at the Naval Support Activity, Crane Indiana including demolition and removal work of existing reinforced concrete loading docks, concrete saw cutting and drilling, excavation and backfilling, placing of steel reinforcement, forming and placing concrete, miscellaneous grounding connections, connections to existing ground girdle around the existing magazine, grading, seeding and mulching, and incidental related work as necessary to provide a complete and usable project. This will be a lump sum contract, awarded on a fixed-price basis. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following technical factors will be used to evaluate the offers: past performance, performance narrative, submittals, and product schedule or other factors as stated in the solicitation documents. These technical factors when combined are equal in value to the price. Offerors are required to submit both price and technical information. NAICS Code is 238110 ? Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors with a size standard of $12.0 million. This solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement. Estimated cost range is less than $100,000.00. Solicitation documents will only be available electronically at the following website: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Release date is tentatively scheduled for Friday, June 24, 2005 with proposals due no earlier than 10 days after the actual release date.
