- Under the authority of FAR 6.302-3, Research, Engineer Development Command, Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army Soldier System Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate and award a sole source co ntract for the testing of Forward Osmosis Water Filter devices to EPA Microbiological Purification Standards in order to make final decision on item suitability for Army use to Environmental Associates, LTD, 24 Oakbrook Drive, Ithaca, NY 14850-8717 This effort is to provide the Government with necessary EPA Testing Services. This vendor is the only source for microbiogical testing services in accordance with and certified for EPA and NSF testing protocol for potable water purifiers. The requested servic es are required to support a determination of the safety of commercial FO water filter devices intended to be fielded for the soldier.
