- The Richard L. Roudebush VAMC, 1481 West 10th St., Indianapolis, IN 46202 will be accepting sealed bids on or about August 16, 2005 to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and qualified supervision for the Expand Primary Care Clinics project at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, Indiana. Work to include the construction of approximately 27,000 square feet of new space above the existing warehouse, elevator update and renovation of all backfill areas. All work shall be accomplished within 918 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall include all disciplines normally found in new construction-structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life-safety, etc. This minor construction project has a magnatude between two and seven million dollars and shall be completed within 918 days of the notice to procede. Bidders are reminded that all work shall take place in a healthcare environment and must conform to all applicable codes and standards for Department of Veterans Affairs as well as state, local, and Federal requirements.this is an unrestricted procurement, open to both large and small business concerns. Contract award is subject to the availability of funds. Solicitation 583-00031-05 will be issued on or about July 11, 2005. Bids will be publicly opened at a place and time to be specified in the invitation. A pre-bid conference is scheduled for July 26th. Specific time and place will be disclosed in the invitation. All prospective bidders are encoraged to attend. Telephone requests for information will not be honored. Amendments will be posted through FedBizOpps. Bidders are advised that no contract will be awarded to any firm not listed in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR)database. Prospective bidders are strongly urged to vist the CCR website at www.ccr.gov to ensure all registration requirements are current. Questions concerning the solicitation shall be either mailed to the Contracting Officer (Attn: CSC) or faxed to 317-554-0200.
