SOURCES SOUGHT?This announcement is posted as a Request for Information (RFI) only, for an upcoming solicitation. The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. These services will encompass the provision of Bio-Medical Waste Storage and Disposal services. The contractor shall pick-up, transport, and dispose of the biological waste every two weeks or as required. The biological waste may be picked-up Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 2:00pm. The contractor shall supply the following: 1) Biomedical Waste Storage Boxes, approximately 15"X18"X21". 2) Heavy gauge, Red plastic bags, appropriately labeled ?Bio-Hazardous Waste? and/or the universally recognized Bio-Hazard symbol. 3) Proof of Destruction. The successful contractor must be licensed by the State of Texas and comply with all EPA, Federal, State, and Local laws and/or regulations regarding pick-up and disposal of bio-hazardous waste. The rate for these services shall be on a per box basis. The amount per box shall include all charges for supplies, pick-up, transportation, handling, disposal, and other related fees. It is estimated that 30 boxes of Bio-hazardous waste will be generated per month. Please answer the following questions: 1).
