The sole source award to Affymetrix, inc, is based upon the systems compatibility with existing government-owned equipment used in the laboratory. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 and Size Standard is 500 employees for this requirement. This notice may represent the only official notice. This is a Simplified Acquisition with the estimated value of less than $100,000.00 threshold. This acquisition is being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part13.501 (a), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy this agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties are requested to review the requirement and submit a statement of interest which includes; and itemized price, complete product specifications and a proposed delivery date. The interested party?s statement of interest is due by 7/6/05, 3:00.p.m., The statement must also include any prompt payment discount terms, the Dun and Bradstreet number (DUNS), the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and Offeror?s business size.
