- Description
- The NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Narragansett Laboratory has a requirement to install a fully adhered membrane roof directly to the existing adhered EPDM Carlisle Rubber Membrane Roof System in Narragansett, RI. The requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238160. The small business size standard is $12.0M. The scope of the work includes, but is not limited to providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the installation of the fully adhered roofing overlay including flashings as specified and in accordance with the manufacturer?s most current specifications and details. The roof overlay shall be a Sure-Weld Fleece BACK 100 Membrane by Carlisle or approved equal. Work shall begin on or about 1 August 2005. The performance period will be 60 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The magnitude of this project is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000. Copies of the solicitation including drawings will be uploaded to this site on or about July 12, 2005. Contractors are advised to register at this site as an ?Interested Vendor?. The proposed contract award is intended for award of a firm-fixed price contract using simplified acquisition procedures based on the lowest price responsible vendor that meets the specification. To be eligible for award, vendors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR): www.ccr.gov and obtain a DUNS number by calling 1-800-333-0505. Prospective contractors are also required to complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with the required CCR registration.
