- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). Reference quote number SP310005T0454. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-04 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20050621. The size standard is 500 employees. NAICS is 333210. This acquisition includes: CLIN 0001, 1 EA of a Hendrick/RWH Industries 102X102 Legacy CNC Horizontal Panel Saw or (Equal). Specifications: Machine Style: Solid back table with solid pusher for plastic, allowing front or side loading, Machine Dimensions: 14.5'X14.5'X6', Machine Weight: Gross 6000 lbs, Length of Cut: 102 inches (2590MM), Pusher Fence Speed: 16-49 feet per minute via 1/2 HP AC servo motor, Depth of Cut: 3.5 inches (90 MM), Main Saw Motor: 14 inches diameter (355 MM) X 1 inch bore 3000 RPM height is adjustable, Scoring Blade: 6 inches diameter X 1 inch bore, 6500 RPM, Voltage: 220 volt, 3 Phase, 60 Hz, Saw Carriage Speed: 16-98 feet per minute, 1 HP feed motor variable by AC inverter, featuring high speed return, material indexing: solid pusher fence for small part cutting with rack and pinion linear indexing motion, Material Hold Down: features rack and pinion for level even pressure, Front Tables: one fixed and two moveable front tables, Controller: touch screen controller with manual or automatic operation featuring easy programming for repeating parts size up to 10 sets of different parts sizes and up to 99 repeats of each size. Item to be delivered FOB Destination to Defense Distribution Depot Albany, Bldg 1221, Bay 5 Reg Sup Off, Albany, GA 31704-5000. Deliver by 16 Sep 2005. The Albany Depot will unload the equipment and place in permanent location and provide the necessary electrical hook up. Installation, and standard commercial training not to exceed two days to be included in offeror?s price.
