- Action: Presolicitation Notice Contact: Melissa Lucas REQ #05-2285-0069 The U.S. Geological Survey, LSC-Fish Health Lab, Kearneysville, WV has a requirement to upgrade passenger elevator in accordance with ASME A17.1 2000 or with the American Standard Elevator Code. The Contractor shall remove existing equipment and replace with new equipment as listed: controller selector, Hydraulic power unit with submersible pump, Two G.A.L. mover door operators, G.A.L. hardware in hoistway and on car including clutches and interlocks, Two (2) G.A.L. car stations and four (4) G.A.L. extender cover hall stations, add fire service phase 1& 2, replace all hoistway and car wiring including new travel cables, replace all car top wire ways and duct work, install open and closed contacts activated by smoke detectors in the elevator machine room and corridor adjacent to elevator hoistway to activate the Fire Service Phase 1 function, Dry contacts are to be supplied to elevator machine room for connection to the new control equipment (if required by code). The NAICS code for this acquisition is 235950. Responses are due 07/06/2005. The anticipated award date 07/13/2005 under Simplified Acquisition Procedures Threshold of $100,000.00. The magnitude of the requirement price ranges between $25,000.00 and $100,000. All responsible sources who have a valid Dunn and Bradstreet Number may submit a quotation.
