Description
Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army, REDCOM, Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army  Soldier System Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a sole source basis with Moldmaster Engineering Inc., 187 Newell street, P.O. Box 1161, Pittsfield, Ma. 01202 for the following: 1) MOLD 1  ACH helmet with 0.310 wall thickness. Materials: P20s steel, harden shears, chrome plated molding surfaces; features: ai r poppet, electrically heated and water-cooled. 2) MOLD 2  ACH Helmet with 0.150 wall thickness (Female mold half only). This female mold half should be compatible with and be designed to be used with the male half of MOLD 1. Materials: P20s steel, hardened shears, chrome plated molding surfaces: features: air poppet, electrically heated and water-cooled. 3) MOLD 3 ACH over-helmet .35 thickness helmet. The female mold half of this mold should be compatible with MOLD 1. Materials: P20s steel, h ardened shears, chrome plated molding surfaces; features: air poppet, electrically heated, and water-cooled. 4) MOLD 4 ACH Helmet with 0.800 wall thickness (female half only). This female mold half should be compatible with and designed to be used with the male half of MOLD 1. Materials: P20s steel, hardened shears, chrome plated molding surfaces; featured: air poppet, electrically heated, and water-cooled. DELCO Corporations manufactures these molds from their own proprietary CAD Drawings. And is the only source for the molds.
