- (7960) This firm-fixed-price project involves reconstruction of about 0.09 miles of National Forest System Road, construction of a log sort yard, construction of a shot-rock fill barge loading ramp, and realignment and construction of a shot-rock fill Marine Access Facility (MAF) ramp. The project area is located on the Petersburg Ranger District of the Tongass National Forest. It is approximately 35 miles west-southwest of Petersburg, Alaska. The MAF is located on the northern shore of Three Mile Arm on Kuiu Island, off Keku Strait. It is accessible by seaplane or boat. The estimated price range for this acquisition is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance must be completed by May 15, 2006. A written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation (Invitation for Bids is anticipated) will be posted on FedBizOpps website for viewing and printing on or after July 5, 2005. Potential offerors must obtain the solicitation from the Internet. Offers will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date, and award may occur approximately 30 days thereafter. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (FAR Subpart 19.10) applies.
