Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-05-Q-0386 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-04. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside under NAICS code 333912 and small business size standard 500 Employees. (v) The contractor shall provide the following items: Air Compressor: Rated Capacity: 221acfm @ 125psig, 135psig Maximum Pressure, Premium Efficient (95.0%) 50HP, 460v/3ph/60hz induction motor, 50HP, 460v/3ph/60hz electrics, full voltage (cross-the-line) starter, Heavy Duty Inlet Filter-1 micron rating, Bearing Fluid Reservoirs-BFR, 8000Hour Soluble Compressor Fluid, To include shipping and installation of the unit. Sullair: Model number LS 120-50H or Equal. (vii) Delivery and acceptance should be taken prior to 60 days ARO (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price. (x) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, or complete on ORCA website: http://orca.bpu.gov/ with its offer. (xi) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders--Commercial Items to include clauses 52.209-5--Certification Regarding Debarment, Suspension, Proposed Debarment, and Other Responsibility Matters, 52.209-6--Protecting the Governments Interest When Subcontracting with Contractors Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment, 52.232-33-Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer--Central Contractor Registration, 52.237-3--Continuity of Services, 52.247-34--F.o.b.– Destination, 52.222-19-Child Labor-Cooperation with Authorities and Remedies, 52.222-37-- Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era and Other Eligible Veterans, 52.222-42--Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires applies to this acquisition and 252.232-7003 “Electronic Submission of Payment Requests.” (xiii) Electronic quotes will be accepted at kendall.elkins@dm.af.mil. Fax quotations will not be accepted. In quotations, please include, FOB and discount terms, delivery date, and any other pertinent information. Question: Is this a new installation, or an installation where there is an existing air compressor? Answer: Yes, it is a new site. There was no air compressor there before. b. Question: Will new electrical disconnects or extra wire needed from the main electrical breaker box? Answer: No, it will already be set up. c. Question: Will a forklift be available for unloading the compressor from a freight truckline? Answer: Yes, we will provide a forklift. d. Question: Are there any other items that need to be known for installations? Answer: No, this is just a basic hock up (electrical and air).
