Description
This is an amendment to a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F2XJA75105A100, Amendment 1, is being issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for certain commercial items found at FAR 13.5. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-03, AFAC 2005-0209, AETC FAR Sup NOV 2002 Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, and Defense Change Notice (DCN) 20050422. It is the contractor’s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. The North American Industry Classification System code is 334119 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. This is a best value acquisition where the total price evaluation will include warranty and bulb replacement costs in addition to the bid price. The following item, 0001: 100 ea, XGA, 2100 Lumen ANSI certified, 200 to 300 hours Lamp Life, pixel density greater than 1000” x 700, with equal to or greater than 20 degree vertical keystone projection for these projectors with a 2 year warranty as a minimum or equal. A higher degree vertical keystone projection the better in the evaluation. The government will evaluate offerors based on the best technical solution at the lowest price in accordance with the specifications stated herein. If submitting a quotation for “equal to,” send all pertinent literature along with quote. Additional services or offerings will be evaluated as provided, such as Prompt Service calls. The government items are to be delivered to AFOATS/ SDCS, 401 Cannon Street, Bldg 1033, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112-6106 Attn: Shannon Hard or Julia. The contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003).
