- The 96 Contracting Squadron, 96 CONS/MSCBA at Eglin AFB, Florida intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract to Heim Data Systems, Inc., PO Box N, Belmar, NJ 07719 for the UPGRADE TO EXISTING HEIM DATA SYSTEM TAPE TRANSPORT BOARDS. These boards are components that will integrate with existing telemetry processing equipment to meet compatibility requirements. The announcement number is F1T1DG5110A200. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811212, with a small business size standard of $21.0 Million. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The requirement is for CLIN 0001 – Ten (10) Each, Board Upgrade Heim Data Systems IRIG106 Chapter 10 Upgrade -MRG41 8-Channel PCM Merger Record/Replay, 20 Mbits per Channel: Upgrade to Existing PCM Channels Type ESP40, DCM12 and MRG12 for IRIG106 Chapter 10 operation including throughput, packed and unpacked mode PCM recording and replaying (Heim Data Systems Part # HS110-3036). CLIN 0002 – Two (2) Each, Shipping - Standard Ground. (NOTE: Shipment both ways will consist of 5 Boards at a time). Items are to be delivered to Bldg. 380, Room 124, Eglin AF Base FL 32542. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
