Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, H92243-05-T-0039 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) assigned rating for this procurement is DO. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04, effective 8 June 2005 and class deviations 2005o0001. This procurement is restricted to small business set-aside. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. NAICS code 337215 size standard 500 employees or under. This synopsis/solicitation is for commercial items. The resulting contract from this RFQ will be Firm Fixed Priced (FFP). CLIN 0001 - Galvanized wire mesh storage cages/lockers with the following specifications: 32 each - Folding Guard L1 cages each is 6' x 4'D x 8'H with ceiling, and 3' x 8'H single sliding door with padlock hasps. No shelves. 15 each - Folding Guard L2 lockers each is 3' x 18"D x 7'-6"H with ceiling and 3' x 7'-6"H hinged swing door with padlock hasps. No shelves. 3 each - Folding Guard L3 lockers each is 3' x 18"D x 7'-6"H with ceiling and 3' x 7'-6"H hinged swing door with padlock hasps. No shelves. Panels are 8 gauge all welded galvanized wire, 1-1/2" x 3" mesh with 1" bends on top and bottom. Line posts are used for rigidity, 2" x 2" x 14 gauge welded to a 7" x 1 1/4" base plate, all galvanized. Doors and ceilings are made of the same materials as panels. Materials are to be 100 percent all galvanized and match in with existing materials currently used through the team’s locker rooms. CLIN 0002 - Installation of cages - 1 GR. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Jan 2005) applies to this acquisition.
