- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Division intends to procure on a sole source basis from the Lowell Observatory of Flagstaff, AZ operation and maintenance services of the Navy Prototype Optical Interferometer (NPOI) for the period 1 Oct 05 through 30 Sep 06 with 4, 12 month option periods. The services shall be performed entirely at the contractor's facilities and the NPOI site near Flagstaff, AZ. A firm fixed price (FFP) type contract is contemplated. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 541710. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1). Requests for a copy of the solicitation should be made by letter or telefax (fax #215-697-9569) to FISC Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Division, Code 204.12A. Numbered notes 22 and 26 apply. The Government will not pay for any information received.
