- Description
- The Naval Air Depot, MCAS, Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for rebuild/upgrade of an Allison Electrophoretic Process (AEP) Automated Coating System. The rebuild/upgrade will include the material handling system, process enclosure environmental system, and AEP system controller hardware and software. It is the intent of the Government to solicit ACME Masking Company, Inc., 240 South Production Drive, Avon, IN on a sole source basis. ACME is the original equipment manufacturer for the existing AEP coating system. All equipment supplied in support of this requirement must be designed and integrated into the exisiting system. The design data and software and control logic for the existing system are proprietary to ACME. See numbered notes 22 and 26.
