- Description
- The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONCHIT), through the Program Support Center (PSC), Division of Acquisition Management (DAM), has a requirement to develop, prototype and evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of a process to harmonize standards to support widespread interoperability among health care software applications, particularly electronic health record systems. It is anticipated that one cost-reimbursement type contract will be awarded for a period of 36 months with one 12-month option. Responses to the Request for Proposal (RFP) package will be due within 30 calendar days following the actual date of issuance of the RFP. Award of this requirement is anticipated by September 30, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the PSC.
