- Description
- The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center - San Diego (SPAWARSYSCEN SAN DIEGO) intends to issue Solicitation No. N66001-05- R-0026, to procure engineering support for assembly, test, fabrication, build to print, troubleshoot and repair of Torpedo Setting Panel (TSP), Control Panel (CP), Digital Torpedo Controller (DTC), and Torpedo Presetter Test Set (TPTS) hardware and firmware upgrades. Specifically, this effort requires a proven knowledge of a detailed familiarity and experience with current TSP, CP, DTC and TPTS Advanced Torpedo Tube Readiness Breech (ATTRB), ATTRB maintenance array panel (AMAP) and Surface Vessel Torpedo Tube (SVTT) Simulators. The Navy intends to solicit and award a single award, Firm Fixed Price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, with a base period of three (3) years and two (2) one-year options. This requirement is a follow-on to Contract N66001- 04-F-4017 with Anteon Corporation. This procurement will be conducted as a full and open competition. Personnel involved in this effort shall require a SECRET Security Clearance. The applicable NAICS is 541330 and the small business size is $23 Million annually. Selection will be based on low priced technically acceptable considerations in accordance with FAR 52.204-7. All potential offerors are reminded, in accordance with FAR 52.204-7, CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) (OCT 2003), lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. The estimated release date for the solicitation is on or about July 19, 2005. Electronic copies of the solicitation will be available for download via the Internet World Wide Web at the SPAWAR E-Commerce Central Business Opportunity Page, Systems Center - San Diego, "Open Solicitations", https://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil/. The Government will not provide hard copy versions of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments. Notification of any changes (amendments) to the solicitation will be made only on the Internet at https://e- commerce.spawar.navy.mil/; it will be the contractor's responsibility to check the website for any posted changes. All prospective offerors and plan rooms are encouraged to register for automatic e-mail notification of changes/amendments on the SPAWAR E-Commerce Central Business Opportunity Page website.
