- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Rhode Island intends to award a one year contract with four one year options for bottled water. Line Items include renting approximately 70 water coolers per year and receiving approximately 17,000 five gallon bottles per year. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the Solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The Government will evaluate technical capability and price. Offerors shall demonstrate acceptable water quality based on the results from a bottled water analysis taken by the offeror within the last year. This acquisition is a total small business set aside, NAICS Code 445299; Size Standard $6 Million. The incumbent contractor is Crystal Spring Water Co., Middletown, RI (Contract N66604-01-C-0012).
