Description

This solicitation is intended to be awarded as a Best Value to the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offeror. Solicitation is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This is a competitive acquisition for the award of a single five (5) year, Firm Fixed Pric e,Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The purpose of this acquisition is to procure the Ultra High Frequency (UHF)Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Medium Gain Antenna AS-3567 (NSN: 5985-01-149-2576) and its associated Antenna Extensions (NSN: 5895-01-388-4428). The Medium Gain Antenna is used with the AN/PSC-5 family of radio sets, and it is also compatible with AN/PSC-3, AN/P SC-7(MST-20 Plus), AN/PSC-10 (LST-5A/B), AN/PRC-117 and/or equivalent manpack satellite communication systems. Initial Delivery Schedule Requirements * With First Article Requirements, the Offeror shall deliver a minimum 100 medium gain antennas and 50 antenna extensions each per month, commencing 150 days after contract award. * Without First Article Requirements, the Offeror shall deliver a minimum 100 medium gain antennas and 50 antenna extensions each per month, commencing 30 days after contract award. Subsequent Delivery Schedule Requirements * The Offeror must have the capability to deliver 100 medium gain antenna and 50 antenna extensions each per month on a routine basis, and the additional capability to surge production to 150 medium gain antenna and 75 antenna extensions per month. The Offeror must have the capability to begin delivery within 30 days after award of delivery orders for each item. Delivery of these items will be to New Cumberland Depot, PA. Solicitation will be posted on or about 30 June 2005. Anticipated date of award is on or about 27 September 2005. The following FedBizOpps Numbered Notes apply to this solicitation: Note 1.
