- Restrictions: Requirement is being solicited pursuant to Small Business Demonstration Competitiveness Program and FAR 19.8, Contracting with the Small Business Administration, The 8(a) Program. Under the Small Business Demonstration Competitiveness Program there will be a Price Evaluation Preference for Small Business Hubzone Concerns. Award will be on a competitive basis and based on best value to the Government in accordance with evaluation factors set forth in the solicitation. Two contracts wil l be awarded; one on an unrestricted basis and one to an 8(a) business concern. Description of Synopsis: The contractor shall be required provide facility repair and renovation for barracks at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Work will consist of bringing barracks up to the proper life, health, and safety codes. Specifically, work will con sist of painting, replacing ceiling tile, replacing plumbing fixtures, replacing damaged heating coils, repair/replacement of leaking pipes, replacing damaged mechanical equipment, replacing damaged doors and broken windows, installing base molding, removi ng mold and mildew to include electrical service upgrades and roof repairs. A base period and two options periods is contemplated; contract type is a requirements contract. The magnitude of the project is greater than $10 Million. NAICS is 236220/$28.5 Million.
