- UDATE TO FA8601-05-R-0041, 15 JUNE 05: DOLLAR AMOUNT REVISED, NO OTHER CHANGES. FA8601-05-R-0041, SYSTEMS/MODULAR/FREESTANDING FURNITURE MAINTENANCE FOR THE ACQUISITION MANAGEMENT COMPLEX (AMC): The Operational Contracting Squadron, 88 CONS/PKBA, will issue request for proposal (RFP) FA8601-05-R-0041 on approximately 22 Jun 05, for the acquisition of systems/modular/freestanding furniture maintenance for the Acquisition Management Complex (AMC) at Wright- Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, and other buildings associated with functional organizations located in the Area B boundary. The AMC Complex consists of buildings 553, 556, 557, 558, 559, and 560. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform this service. No furniture design layout shall be required. Work shall comply with Government and local laws and regulations. The anticipated period of performance is one year, 1 Oct 05 - 30 Sep 06. The contract includes provision for four option periods of one year each: Option Period I, 1 Oct 06 - 30 Sep 07, Option Period II 1 Oct 07 - 30 Sep 08, Option Period III 1 Oct 08 - 30 Sep 09, and Option Period IV, 1 Oct 09 - 30 Sep 10. The proposed contract is a 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition if 561210, with an associated size standard of $30 Million. The Request for Proposal (RFP) and the Statement of Work (SOW) will be posted on the ASC Pre- Award Information Exchange System (PIXS) at the web address: http://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil. The RFP will be issued electronically approximately 22 Jun 05, on PIXS. Paper copies of the RFP will not be provided. The RFP can be downloaded and printed from the World Wide Web at the PIXS address above. After the solicitation has been posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the web site frequently for updates to the documents. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal and shall be considered. Completed copies of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification - Commercial Items, and DFARs 252.212- 7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, must be submitted with the offer. Facsimile or alternate proposals are not acceptable. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to award for solicitations issued after 30 May 98. A Site Visit will be planned for a date after release of the RFP; such date will be posted in the solicitation.
