Description

Furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to "Renovate Wards 2N & 3N for Med/Surg Pt. Privacy?. Work includes general construction, interior alterations and renovations, mechanical and electrical work, asbestos abatement, necessary removal of existing construction and certain other items as required by the specifications and drawings. The NAICS code is 236220/size standard is $28.5 million. Cost range is $2,000,000-$5,000,000. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, specifications, drawings and schedules of the solicitation, Subject to the Availability of Funds. THIS SOLICITATION IS A TOTAL HUB-ZONE SET ASIDE. BIDS WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED FROM QUALIFIED HUB-ZONE SMALL BUSINESSES. The issue date is 7/1/05. Pre-Bid Conference: 7/19/05 at 9:00am in Room B18, Bldg. 19. Bid Opening: 8/4/05 at 3:00pm in Room B18, Bldg. 19. All requests for bid packages must be made in writing and accompanied by a check or money order made payable to VA Medical Center, in the amount of $150.00. This charge is NON-REFUNDABLE. Requests accompanied by payment should be mailed to: VA Medical Center, Contracting Officer 90C, 619 S. Marion Avenue, Lake City, FL 32025, FAX 386-758-3211. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. This solicitation will be available in hard copy only. All potential bidders must obtain a DUNS number and be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to do business with the VA. Information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov.
