- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F2N33S5138A100. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-03 and DFARS Change Notice 200500524 Edition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code to this acquisition is 423490. This combined synopsis/solicitation is unrestricted. Items required are as follows: 1. P/N 0060049 Maximax Reel Boom 100'(30M), consists of a flexible skirt type foam flotation (2" thick rectangular) oil & debris barrier for HARBOR use.1/4"(6mm) S.S top cable, 3/8" (10mm) flotation and 16"(406mm) skirt. Made of 22oz. PVC fabric. Boom weight 2.3lbs/ft (3.3kg) connectors: universal slide standard, ASTM 962 "Z" (15 EA) or Equal. 2. P/N 0541000A Tow bridle with bullet float for maximax, supermax and pernafence boom (1 EA) or Equal. 3. P/N 0POWEYA504 Boom Reel Power Pac, hydraulic drive, complete with 10HP 220V 50 Hz electric motor. Hydraulic flow: 4.5 GPM (17 L/Min) Pressure: 2500 psi (172 bar) Comes with a cover (1 EA) or Equal. 4. BOOM REEL. Will hold 1,500' of Maxi max reel boom marine grade aluminum spool with solid side flanges. Heavy-duty steel base with forklift pockets frame painted with industrial epoxy paint. Reliable hydraulic direct drive speed control-forward and reverse comes complete with a vinyl cover lift eyes (1 EA) or Equal. If it is an equal item the Offeror should submit specifications. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall provide a firm fixed-price for above items. Offerors unable to meet the target delivery date of 30 calendar days after contract award must provide projected delivery date. Successful contractor must meet all the responsibility requirements of Subpart 9.1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). A written notice of award or acceptance of offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Evaluation will be made based on the lowest price offer, with the proposed delivery date closest to our target delivery date. If shipping items from the United States, the nearest east coast departure point to Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal is CONSOLIDATION & CONTAINERIZATION POINT, DEFENSE DEPOT SUSQUEHANNA (DDSP), BLDG 2001, NEW CUMBERLAND, PA 17070-5001, shipping prices to this destination shall be included in the line item.
